International Women’s Day 2015

International Women’s Day was yesterday, and so we took the opportunity to celebrate, and promote our show which is, of course, all about international women’s stories and their roles in a diverse range of cultures.

We arranged with Julie, the marketing manager of the Lincoln Performing Arts Centre, to have a series of tweets sent out on their Twitter account (which has over 5,000 followers) about WOMENSwear and our company, in order to get us some more coverage online, and notice the links between our performance and a day celebrating women all over the world.

Women’s Day was being talked about all over the world, and I am pleased that we managed to get our slice of the action, and promote WOMENSwear on the day when our message is most important.
